Aeromodeling

The aeromodeling is a pleasure and creative hobby, which has as main objective the design, building and flying of model airplanes or helicopters. These models can be scale copies of real airplanes or helicopters, or they are specially constructed aircraft models to take advantage of some flying characteristics like speed or duration of flight.

Going back in time, we would see the establishment of aeromodeling hobby coinciding with the desire of the human to fly. During the last 50 years though, the hobby has being developed so much that is no more just a game.

The aeromodeling hobby gives you the pleasure of building and then flying a small but real aircraft that you have constructed. It also gives a primary introduction to the world of aerodynamics, designing, electronics, engine technology, wood crafting and the technology of new materials.

The growth of technology has permitted the aeromodels to fly higher, faster and longer making them simultaneously simpler and safer. All these achievements and performance presuppose a good start and plenty free time for a step-by-step development, independently of age and experience.
